Meet nutella-filled brioche donut holes by @desserttruck. The beloved pastry truck is DessertTruck Works now, but the buttery goods are the same. There’s just more of them.
The sugar-coated dough puffs pictured above are brought to you by NYC pastry chefs who decided to quit their fancy restaurant jobs to sell molten chocolate cake and bread pudding with bacon custard sauce to the masses from a truck. And when purveying sweets on wheels became more trouble than it was worth, they set up shop in one of Manhattan’s most food-centric neighborhoods, the Lower East Side.
You know what they say, when one truck shuts down, a storefront opens…
